Cubot X17 Review

Build quality is amazing the X17 is smooth and feels great in the hand. packaging is poor and I'm not just saying that because I didn’t get any bubble wrap. fortunately the X17 arrived safely and in intact they really took advantage of the X17's sturdy build.

Android 5.1 is easy to use and smooth and this is minor but i really wanted a Chinese brand phone to start using the most advanced android 6.0 and it would have been a nice touch to help set the X17 and X16 apart.

Cubot X17 Vs Iphone 6s
Screen is amazing and clear it has 440 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) to give you an idea of how good that is the Iphone 6s Only has 401 PPI Screen.  These images below show a difference of 1 pixel which is fine as actual testing results reveal the individual specifications of each phone and may differ slightly.

Cubot X17 Dual Sim
Dual sim is a feature that lets your phone receive and make calls from one of the two sims installed it is especially good when combine with android 5.1 which display and incoming calls in either green or red to distinguish which of your numbers is being called. My problem is with the SD card slot, problem is in order to use an SD card one of the slots for a sim card must be used and that puts me off using one.

Memory
16GB is given but bear in the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS(Operating System) and other preinstalled apps use up space so your left with about 12GB. This goes back to the sim situation you can increase memory 32GB with an SD card but that will cost you
